Marius Dahl is a multilingual Paris-based Director of Photography and Cinematographer, fluent in French, English, German, and Norwegian. With more than a decade of experience across commercials, fiction, documentaries, music videos, and fashion, he brings a refined visual style shaped by both narrative craft and documentary instinct.

Vision & Approach

Trained in Norway in fiction and commercial techniques, Marius deepened his craft through years of documentary work, developing a sharp intuition for lighting and natural imagery. Over the past 10 years, focusing on commercials, music videos, and fiction, he has built a complete visual toolbox that allows him to adapt his aesthetic precisely to the needs of each project.

Experience

Marius has lensed Netflix true-crime series, award-winning feature films, documentaries, as well as high-profile campaigns for brands including Nike, Gatorade, Google, Evian, Audi, Hyundai, Carven, and Le Coq Sportif. He is currently the Co-President of UCO, the United Cinematographers Organisation
