About Marius Dahl

Marius Dahl is a multilingual Paris-based DOP, lighting camera operator and Cinematographer. He speaks fluently French, English, German and Norwegian. He has spent over a decade studying and working within Commercials, Fiction, Documentaries, Music videos and Fashion, developing his visual style and sensibility.

Skillset

Marius has a background from both fiction and documentary. Through his film school in Norway, he learned the techniques of fiction and commercial production. Later, he complemented these techniques through shooting documentaries, learning to trust his instincts for lighting, shooting and working with natural and available light. Focusing on commercials, music videos and fiction the last 10 years, he has developed a complete toolbox, enabling him to achieve the look and aesthetic best suited for the project.

Experience

Marius has shot true-crime series for Netflix, as well as both fictions and documentaries for French television . He has shot commercials for world renown brands such as Nike, Gatorade, Evian, Audi, Hyundai, Carven, Lecoq sportif, and many more. He is a full member of UCO, the United Cinematographers Organisation

Marius can shoot with any high-end camera system available on the market.
